OIOP CLUBS ACTIVITIES
One India One People Foundation opened its 13th club, this time at the Pragdnya Bodhini School, in Goregaon (E),
Mumbai on October 12, 2007. Addressing the students, the school principal, Mrs. Seema Sheikh, expressed hope that the proposed activities of the Club such as rainwater harvesting, waste management, environment awareness programmes, etc., will benefit the students and also make them sensitive towards issues of social concern and their role as citizens of this country. The school involves students in projects that are aimed at preserving the environment, protecting mangroves etc., and also interacts with schools in the neighbourhood for promoting such issues.
